The Chimney SweepNancy Chambers...
Nancy Chambers' small whimsical sculpture, The Chimney Sweep, conjures up memories of childhood fancies, inviting the viewer to come closer and at the same time to keep a proper distance.

Born in Midland, Texas. B.A., Austin College, Sherman, Texas; M.F.A., University of Dallas. Affiliated with DW Gallery in Dallas. Taught at Richland College. Known for her poetic combinations of incongruous objects in a personal style that blends elements of surrealism and assemblage. Nancy Chambers died June 16, 1997 due to complications of lymphoma in Dallas, TX.
