Gael Stack uses the deliberate placement of calligraphic strokes to create a half-hidden code-like graffiti in Central Adjustment Bureau.

Born in Chicago. B.F.A., University of Illinois; M.F.A., Southern Illinois University. Her artworks have been exhibited in this country and in Europe. Five of her pieces were included in the Guggenheim Museum's 1981 Biennial exhibit "19 Artists -- Emergent Americans" exhibition; one piece was purchased by the museum.
